Usually the food is really spicy in hot countries.  Togo is not an exception. They eat “piment” with all kind of sauces. The spice should be mashed and added into a dish. In restaurants they serve some “piment” seperately.  It is really good with fresh tomatos. …mmmmm… I love it.

I like the way how they prepare the spice. I have no idea how it is done in the restaurants, but in the village they use stones.
